SPECIALIST FORSCAN DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING & CALIBRATION IN KILSYTH
Modern Ford vehicles rely heavily on electronic modules, sensors and computer-controlled systems. When components are replaced, suspension heights are changed or certain modifications are carried out, the vehicle may require more than a standard diagnostic scan.
At High Rollers 4x4, we use FORScan diagnostic and programming software to access, diagnose, configure and calibrate supported systems across a range of Ford vehicles.
We regularly work with Ford Ranger, Ranger Raptor and Everest models, providing specialist diagnostic and calibration services for both standard and modified vehicles.
Whether you're dealing with a warning light, incorrect ride-height values following suspension work or a system that requires recalibration, our experienced technicians can diagnose the issue and determine the appropriate solution.
WHAT IS FORSCAN?
FORScan is specialist diagnostic software designed specifically for Ford, Mazda, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. It provides access to vehicle systems and functions that aren't always available through conventional generic diagnostic scan tools.
Depending on the vehicle and system, FORScan can allow our technicians to view detailed live data, access individual control modules, perform service procedures, carry out calibrations and configure supported vehicle settings.
For modern Ford 4WDs in particular, this can be extremely useful when diagnosing faults or carrying out modifications that affect the way the vehicle's electronic systems operate.
FORD RANGER RAPTOR RIDE-HEIGHT CALIBRATION
Modern Ford Ranger and Ranger Raptor models use electronic systems that rely on vehicle height and position data to operate correctly.
After suspension modifications, component replacement or certain repairs, the stored ride-height values may no longer accurately represent the vehicle's physical position.
Using FORScan, we can access supported suspension-related systems and perform the required ride-height resets and calibrations, helping ensure the vehicle's electronic systems have accurate information to work from.
This can be particularly relevant following:
- Suspension upgrades
- Lift or levelling modifications
- Spring replacement
- Suspension component replacement
- Ride-height sensor replacement
- Changes affecting the vehicle's measured ride height
Rather than simply fitting suspension components and sending the vehicle out the door, we can assess whether additional electronic calibration is required as part of the job.
MORE THAN JUST CLEARING FAULT CODES
Like all diagnostic work, using FORScan effectively involves more than connecting a laptop and clearing warning lights.
Fault codes provide valuable information, but they don't necessarily tell you which component has failed or why a problem has occurred.
Our technicians combine FORScan data with mechanical inspections, live data analysis and further testing where required to determine the actual cause of a fault.
If there's an underlying mechanical, electrical or sensor issue, simply clearing the fault code won't fix it—and the warning will likely return.
Our aim is to understand why the fault occurred and recommend the correct solution.
